Replica Panerai launched the new Luminor Luminor Perpetual Calendar (Ref: PAM00715), which combines the brand’s exclusive Platinumtech™ material case and green sunray dial to reproduce the classic design of the PAM01116.
The new watch has a diameter of 44 mm and a case made of Platinumtech™ precious metal. This material was specially developed by the Panerai creative workshop. It is a 950 platinum alloy, which is harder than traditional platinum and has excellent physical properties, which also increases the technical difficulty of processing and polishing. With a sapphire crystal and iconic crown guards, the case features a see-through case back and is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The green dial is decorated with sunray patterns, showing a classic sandwich structure. The golden hands are coated with a white fluorescent material, which ensures excellent reading even in dark environments. Subtle and pleasing to the eye, the dial complements the brown alligator strap with a platinum pin buckle.
In order to retain a simple and clean appearance, Panerai has specially designed the functional layout. With the exception of the central hour and minute hands, the GMT hand, and the sub-dial at 9 o’clock (with small seconds and day/night display), the dial-side perpetual calendar function displays only the necessary day and date. Other functions, such as month, year and leap year, are located on the back of the watch. In addition, the watch also features a power reserve display.
This watch is powered by the Replica Panerai-made P.4100 movement, which is based on the P.400X series and has been significantly improved to accommodate the perpetual calendar function. In fact, the P.4100 is not simply a perpetual calendar module added to the top, but a one-piece movement. The P.4100 movement is equipped with a 22K gold micro-rotor, oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), with double barrels and a power reserve of up to 72 hours.
